The organizers of Community and Citizen Science in the Far North formally invite you to register to attend the virtual conference to be held Wednesday, 17 April – Thursday, 18 April 2024, https://www.arcus.org/ccs/meetings/2024-conference.
Building off the efforts started in 2021, this is the second Community and Citizen Science (CCS) in the Far North Conference hosted by ARCUS. This free, virtual conference will focus on sharing, networking, and discussing the various aspects of conducting community and citizen science research in the Arctic. Conference organizers recognize that although there are many resources regarding community and citizen science available online, there are few venues to build community around issues specific to the Arctic.
Registration is now open! We are also accepting abstracts. The abstract submission deadline is Friday, 8 March 2024, 5:00 p.m. Alaska Standard Time.
Please check out the website (https://www.arcus.org/ccs/meetings/2024-conference) for more details and feel free to contact us at connec@arcus.org if you have questions. We can't wait to see you all there!
Reminder, the deadline is approaching next week! Please encourage folks to send in their abstracts.
