❄️🌨⛄️ It's started snowing a bit up high here in the mountains in Colorado this week.
I've been teaching about snow as a reservoir of water supply for years; created middle school winter field trips in the Rocky Mountains and more. Anybody else teaching about snow in the snow? Let's share ideas, resources and any great stories of teaching snow science.

Sarah - I have never focused on snow when talking about a water source, but I think it would be a great way to share information about watersheds. I think I always focus on rain - you've made me think about adjusting my focus so that I talk about the importance of snow in many regions for spring thaw water supplies.
