I came upon this awesome powerful mapping tool, the Arctic Renewable Energy Atlas. I can see it being really useful in education settings when having students investigating energy sources the Arctic..... and not only focusing on fossil fuels, but rather climate solutions.
I'm curious if there are folks here who are already using it in educational settings. If so, can you please share any lessons/activity plans where you do use it? Thanks in advance. 😄
Wow! This is a very cool mapping tool, thanks for sharing Sarah! I know the AP Environmental Science curriculum has a lot of connection with each of the energy resources indicated in the mapping tool. I have not seen this prior, but can think of some connections right away with that unit of the CollegeBoard CED. Wonder if other AP educators are on this thread and see those connections too?
