Kellie Arenz this is a great topic to get started...
There are so many excellent resources from former PolarTREC educators in the archives at https://www.polartrec.com/resources/search
Thanks Kellie for starting this! As Sarah said, there are lots of great resources in PolarTREC. Do you have a specific topic you are looking for? That might also help us all share our favorites.
Perhaps these CIRES Education and Outreach curriculum pieces could be of interest... https://cires.colorado.edu/outreach/programs/arctic-climate-connections
These Data Puzzles are also pretty well done... https://datapuzzles.org/data-puzzle-collection
I enjoy CIRES! Jonathon does a fantastic job. Today is the deadline for Project ICE through AMS. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about ICE Arctic and Antarctic.

Jonathan Griffin is the person who makes the resources, he does the data puzzles as well. He will offer PD on some of them throughout the year. He does a really good PD. There are HS and MS activities. There is a wide range of activities to pick from. Good pick Sarah Johnson!
#K12 #Teachers: Project Ice applications are due today! Go to https://bit.ly/4606ZPa to apply! AMS also has several other great PD in the summer.
Do you know if AMS professional development is ever aimed at nonformal educators or teacher trainers? I would love to learn from AMS one day
I don't think that is an out of line request. Abigail Stimach was the contact for both classes I took. She should be able to get you to the right person to ask! astimach@ametsoc.org
I just came upon this Arctic curriculum guide from WWF... perhaps you may find it useful https://www.worldwildlife.org/teaching-resources/toolkits/teaching-tool…
I just keep coming upon new to me resources... here's another: https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/labs/lab/polar/
